What an awesome thread idea!

I backed out of my ordered LCI M5C when I found my exact spec car sitting at a dealership in another part of the country and after my build week got pushed back five or six times. I used three different devices to constantly check on my ordered car’s status for a few months from the beginning of March to the end of May. I don’t have cross device statistics or information for a cumulative total of views. However…*does some quick math*…my conservative estimate is that I visited between 575 and 625 times lol.

As we all know, the tracker is obviously a double edged sword.

I didn't even think about my phone. Great. So that number really is probably well over 1000.

Lol no matter how many times I remove that page from my phone’s browser suggestions, it somehow always comes back on there. The only site that does that, likes it’s still taunting me.

I hope to not have to be in that place of checking 5 times a day for quite some time.

I can tell you this, though — you’ll forget all about it when your car (finally) arrives!

I keep waiting for things to tick over in MyBMW so I can actually see the vehicle. Sent signed paperwork back a few days ago. It's "at the dealership" right now but not scheduled for pickup for two weeks. I did get my reflector deleters (or whatever you call them) today, and it's the first time I've seen the color in person. Love it. Yes, it's another grey M5. What else would one expect given my username?

I’m all about “boring” color M5s. If both of mine weren’t black, they’d be gray.
