Boiling power steering fluid
Hello there, my power steering fluid reservoir is gurgling and leaking fluid.
I came back from vacation and saw a puddle of fluid under the car maybe 1 quart atleast. Thought maybe transmission fluid was leaking but leaking from power steering reservoir. Called service center and they are saying to drive it to dealership. Should I drive it or get it towed? I did autocross 4 laps end of September but was fine after that. I started the car today and the reservoir started gurgling and dripping right away. |

I turned on the car for maybe 2 mins and then turned it off, the power steering reservoir sounded like oil was boiling in there. I opened the cap 5 hours later and oil came gushing out boiling. I am not driving the car to dealership will get it transported.

Flatbed the car to the dealership today. They are saying they are coolant leaking issues and overheating in 4.4L tt engines and my radiator might be clogged due to bad coolant and radiator and lines might need to be replaced. The car will be in the workshop for 5 to 10 days.

Correct me if I'm wrong but those have electric steering racks? Also that picture you supplied is a coolant tank for the turbocharger circuit. That is not power steering fluid.
