Assuming fair credit with NJ taxes and fees for 12k/36m:

$12k down will put you at about $2130 a month.

That seems pretty excessive, given I was quoted slightly less than that for a fully-loaded M5C (with MPE and all the CF add-ons available) even just six months ago... with no down payment. This pretty much just has CCB's and is the most boring color in existence. Yea, yea, supply and demand, supply chain.. squawk... squawk. But at some point, it just becomes exploitative.

Unhappy

Unfortunately, no one is excited about the price of anything right now.

With the current state of the market the days of $1100 M5s are gone.. 6 months ago i was quoted $1600 with 5K down for the same car. Hopefully when things calm down, it'll make more financial sense to get an M car. But for now these are the prices you're stuck paying it or you don't get a new car. Seems like people are paying it since there are no cars around.

Give it some time, patience. With markets the way they are and talk of recession, prices for new and used cars will start to to come down sooner than later.

LMFAO, not a chance I'd pay $2100 for that car (a car that will be an old model in a year). You can get an M8 for $2100 a month with nothing down.

Based on what I am hearing it will actually be 2024 it sounds like and the M5 will be the new one with some form of electrification.

Can anyone confirm M5s won't be made in 2023?

Why would M5s not be made in 2023?

Dealers want you to think that inventory is still scarce. That's partly true, but numbers are already picking up, and now we're into the '23s. I wouldn't pay a cent over MSRP later this year, and hopefully even less than that. None of us can predict what will happen, but least of all dealers. They will play up the "low inventory", "inflation" line for as long as they can.

*apologies for the hijack. GLWS!*

I thought I read they were halting production to retool for the new 2024s. Much like there wasn't a 2017…

I saw on this forum awhile ago that EOP ('23 MY) for the G30/ F90 is 7/23. I think there will be a '23 MY. Thought this even before a friend of mine ordered a '23 M5.

I'd still like to order another F90 but will keep my current if prices are STUPID.
