50 days and 50 nights without my baby finally over!
So after suffering from "postpartum depression" for 51 days; I finally got that much anticipated call from my SA informing me that my baby was back from her HPP fuel pump transplant. :rocks: She was gone so long i forgot what she looked like, now i'm falling in love all over again. Now its time to ger her some new shoes.

what compensation did they give you?
They covered my loan payments whilst my E93 was being fixed, but I'm now trying for further compensation to cover the inconvinience and stress caused.

HPFP go out? On European fuel? If true, I guess that would mean the theory of American gas additives causing the problem is unfounded.

Why shouldn't he get compensation he purchased a 335 not an 06 330.
I am not saying give him some kind of big cash settlement, but I think BMW should do something else for people who had their cars in for service so long, either some kind of dealership credit, free extended warranty, etc.... |

So you are saying that if you hired a contractor to work on your brand new house and he accidentally burned it down, but then he said he would make your mortgage payments while your new house was being built again and would give you free rent in a rental house (one that is older and has been lived in by another person) while you dont have your new house, then you would feel compensated? That's comical, if everybody was like you, there would be no lawsuits. |

I cant remember mentioning legal action at any point in my posting. If you have not suffed this problem, then how can you comment as to whether it's inconvinient and stressful or not. My $80,000 car broke after 650 miles and was off the road for over a month. I was never given any firm timescales for the car to be fixed, I was only ever told that it would be months rather than weeks!!! I suggest you try handing your brand new car over for an undefined period before criticising other people. Have a nice day!

I don't agree, and probably the way the lease is written (it's favorable for the lessor in every way), it doesn't either.
If I were in the same position, believe me, I would not be pleased. But to say someone should give me a car to drive, that's fair because of the general policy about loaners while being serviced. Making payments on the owner's behalf, that's pretty good, must be a courtesy. To put 50 days of mileage on someone else's 330, to keep them off the 335 (which is like 80 cents per mile), and then to want more, it's just bizarre. Didn't we learn about unjust enrichment in high school? These sort of individuals don't make me mad, because I run into them in the course of work. But I definitely avoid them as acquaintances and friends. My .02. |
