Hey guys, Im in sydney Australia and when i test drove the 325 it comes standard with autolock doors and seat memory and thats what my new car comes with, why is it that you guys are talking about it as an update. As far as us Aussies go thats how the car came without updates. Can somebody explain this dont see how we could be ahead of north america in this respect, lol I know we are in many others too but you guys are suppose to be the best....lol haa lol.... ( i can say this cause im originally from New York but now live in the best city in the world Sydney)

What do you mean by Autolock? How do the Daytime Running lights works? Are they just the angel lights or what?

The software update is a bug fix - all of the E90s were *meant* to have the features you describe, but all have experienced problems with the auto-locking (doesn't work). As far as seat memory goes, from what I have read in other threads, this also is/was not working as advertsied - hopefully corrected by the latest software update <we need a smiley for "fingers crossed"

Mine is still on order (actually due to be built this week), so I cannot say for sure. I am pretty sure however that I have read on this forum that others have experienced issues with the seat memory. The main problems that were due to be fixed in September were:

- Auto door lock
- Seat memory
- MP3 CD on Nav/iDrive

I have the PDF file somewhere - probably on my other PC. I'll post if I can find it, but if you do a search on some of the "problem" related threads you should find it.

As well as the Sept software update, my dealer to me that I would also need Bluetooth as well for MP3 CD to work with Navi-Pro.

Is that true?

Anyone know if 'clown nose blink when car locked' (sans alarm) is part of the Sept CIP?

TIA

Don't worry u are not
I've had my auto locks & driver memory since I bought my car in June.
From what I hear you guys in Beautiful Australia pay zillion $$ then we do?
So I guess we rather pay lots less and wait for few updates

Yeah, it's pretty sad what we pay for european cars here ...

You guys complain about paying $2000 for Nav ... hold your breath, we pay $AUD 6800 which is approx $US 5000

The term "luxury car" takes on a whole new meaning in Oz with these greedy tax laws we have
