M Mode widgets missing

Pressing the button on the stalk had no effect. Changing the setting for the left side in iDrive also had no effect. Solution was so BMW: Pull off into a parking spot, turn the car off, hold the iDrive button for a minute, then start up again. Problem fixed. I'm still on the same software as I was from the factory so it doesn't seem to be caused by an update.
