Tire Pressure Monitor off by +3 psi

I noticed my tire pressure monitor in the infotainment system is constantly off by +3 compared to pressures measured by gauge. i.e. gauge read 33/34, infotainment shows 36/37.

I tried rest measurement in the infotainment, as well as change tire selection (20 285/35 to Other sizes, and the other way around), but the problem pressist. It's not a big deal I will just read them by -3 psi but curious if anyone experiences the same problem?

Thanks!

2022 M5C, just picked her up, 300 miles driven.

I haven’t had a problem with the TPMS. It has always been the same reading as my gauge if I check it soon after starting, so I’ve stopped reading it with the gauge and just rely on the TPMS.

Gauges can be off as well. I have two quality gauges that read about 10% difference one to the other.

Good point! I'll grab another one and give it a try.

Shame on me! Got a new pressure gauge and it’s within 1 of the iDrive reading. Turned out my old gauge was off by 10%
