PLEASE Look- Carbon Fiber Front Bumper Cover

Have any of you guys seen this on eBay? This is actually a nice piece. It's a slim piece of carbon fiber that basically goes on "inside" the lip of the bottom part of the front bumper. I have seen it on IG on M5s in Moscow and I remember reading a post on it in the forums, but can't recall if anyone ended up ordering. I actually had reached out to the manufacturer in Moscow and they replied, in broken English...BUT quoted me $2,000 for it. Anyway, wanted to share with you in the event you have ordered it from this seller. And if so, did you get the part, was the process easy and was the product to you expectations?

I've seen this part, and seen the cost of it from other people on here. Somebody local bought it for his M8 from that Russian company @carbon.fiber.art on ig. I would not pay 2k for it.

That $500 piece that you linked from eBay, seems to be using pictures stolen from the original @carbon.fiber.art company. Minimal seller feedback, and a lousy description. I would not gamble, too many red flags....

This! Way too many red flags. Also, note that anything that is "real" CF, even if it's not top quality, for the F90 M5 typically has a ransom sized price tag associated with it. From quality replicas to the real deal, just about every CF lip I've come across for this car that wrap around the entire bottom portion the front bumper are usually around the $1700 and up range. I'm sure there are sub-standard ones out there you can get for a really low price, but that goes without saying... "you get what you pay for".

I myself don't plan to pay $2500 for a front lip on a daily driver. Unfortunately there aren't a lot of options and I've been hoping a nice replica of the RKP would have hit the scene by now for maybe $1000 at max 😅. In the meantime, I'm preoccupied by wheels and lowering the car for now.

No doubt, Lots of red flags. I was more curious if anyone has bought it (from Moscow or here in the USA) and if it was a good product. r33_RGSport should look into this. With your excellent reputation and if you found a good distribution channel for this, you could sell a few hundred for sure.

I believe RW Carbon has an RKP replica IIRC .. I bought their side skirts and was pleasantly surprised by the quality, fitment and price.

I learned the hard way that spending a ton on front lips does not make sense as they take a beating. Had an RKP Lip on one of my F10 M5's and it lasted less than 90 days.

agreed. you can get away with a cheap lip and side skirts but my rear spoiler from RW has faded and looks like garbage after a year and I keep it in a garage.

The guy i mention is @mylittlebikeshop on ig, bought it for his M8, along with many other parts in cf from that Russian company, and says the quality is amazing. That guy is very picky so i know he is not lying. You can see his post from October 2nd, he shows that cf piece there in his ig post.

💯 ... front lip and skirts somewhat out of plain sight. I went Mperf for rear diffuser and Mode Carbon for rear spoiler. Happy with both.

That's a bummer to hear as I just added one to mine. Can you take photos or PM me so I can see what it looks like? I guess I'll plan on replacing it if mine ends up doing the same. Thanks!

I could not agree more. I went through 2 Vorsteiner replica jet black front lips on my F10. The first looked like a high school freshman's pock marked face after a few months and the second was "operator error" on a steep ramp in a parking garage. Even though they were replicas and not CF, it still hurt.

Have you contacted RW? Maybe they'll send you another one.

So far, so good on the side skirts; took a look and all looks fine(I think they've been on the car for about two years).

That's disappointing to hear man!

On the F10 M5 forums their reputation was less than stellar and I recall lots of fitment issues but I read some positive feedback from some F90 guys and decided to give them a try .. probably a crapshoot at best.

all of my other parts are fine, the front splitter skirts and rear diffuser. But for whatever reason the rear spoiler hasn't held up as well

Thanks for the photos. That's a huge bummer. I got the side skirts, front lip and spoiler. Fingers crossed they all hold up. Glad to hear your other parts have held up, but sucks that one of the things that is most visible did not.

Hi !

I bought it from that company in Moscow ( Carbon.Fiber.Art ) and it looks so good. Top quality dry carbon, fits perfect. I have a full set on front from that company (without carbon kidney grilles). But the price for me (Europe,Poland) was much more better...

That looks so good! I have a frozen dark grey F90 as well, so seeing your car makes me want to get it regardless of price haha. Looks incredible. I wish they had a source or a better conduit for distribution for the USA.
