Hey guys. My car completed production on 2/4, dispatched from factory 2/7 and is still "dispatched from factory"…has anyone's car been completed since then and is already at the port? BMW genius said it could just be waiting for the next batch of cars to be ready in order to head to the port but I have seen other forum members have their car built after me and are already at the port.

that's strange, are you certain their cars finished production after yours? my car was waiting at port forever before they finally shipped it, so i know there are delays and back logs of cars. could just be your car is at the port and just not unloaded yet.

Yes 100% certain, last I heard (yesterday) was my car was still at the factory. I checked my vin and I have "retrofit PMA control unit" as a defect on the car. Searched the code "0066640100" and haven't seen much info on it.

I have that one as well, says retrofit PMA control unit.

I was at port for a long time but finally got on a boat, car was done jan 23

Get used to waiting, my car has been sitting since 12/17 at awaiting carrier assignment. My car has no open issues on the VIN.

That's pretty messed up dude. My build week was the first week of February and my car's been at the port since late last week. Only caveat I'll throw in there is I don't have B&W option as it wasn't available when I ordered or before my car went into production.

I'd get some clarification as that's not normal, best guess is they fucked up your car somehow and are trying to fix it.

Both me and @Paul.LCI have been reaching to people to try and figure out what is going on and no one knows anything. They say they will get answers but never return our calls lol.

@bmwusa is what I text, they usually can Gove you info the dealer can't or put you in contact with someone that can, only use it as a last ditch effort

I think Paul especially is at that point lol. 2 months today waiting for carrier assignment with no open issues

Yeah, for mine it'll be 4 weeks tomorrow. I'm hoping we're both on one of the two ships that are scheduled to depart next week.
