How hard is it to find order allocations?

I asked my dealer a couple months ago about ordering an M5C and they said it would probably just be a month or two wait. I checked back a few weeks ago and they said it would be about a year. Is that typical?

The first question to ask is whether or not they actually have an allocation. If they don't, find another dealer.

I've never seen an order to delivery take under 3-4 months in a typical environment, but under current conditions, I could see it taking much longer. Not only is there a chip shortage, BMW has paused production due to the Ukraine situation. A year wait doesn't seem out of the question.

On a completely unrelated note, you can always buy mine

Hope this helps.

Ask Dan at Next Level Auto Brokers if he can locate an allocation for you.
