Silverstone F90 M5

Yesterday at the carwash I saw a F10 M5 in Silverstone II. Wow, I forgot how amazing this color is! The car was beautiful. It’s a shame they took away that color as an option for the F90. I’m tempted to go with Individual Silverstone II now instead of a frozen color.

Silverstone II is beautiful. Rhodonite is kind of the refreshed version, even though it lacks that subtle bluish hue...

BMW does a great job with some if their colors, but butchers their fair share of colors as well.

I think Silverstone is one of the best and under appreciated colors BMW has ever had. Most are stuck ordering boring white or grey.

It’s really such a hard decision.. I change my color choice almost daily. LOL

I have had black on my last two BMW’s and last 5 cars.. so this would be a huge thing for me.

Rhodonite Silver one. I haven’t seen more than
Two other silverstone metallic cars in the last three years.
Rhodonite should be the same on this car , I won’t
See many on the road.

The Rhodonite looks nothing like Silverstone II. There is one post on board, and it looks nothing like Silverstone. You maybe able to get under BMW individual colors?

Have you seen the Rhodonite Silver in person? It is a very dull silver in my opinion. Silverstone really pops, Rhodonite does not.

SS II is available for the F90 M5. When I inquired it is the same price as the current individual colors

Yes, It is an individual color now, but not the same price as the individual colors listed on the configurator. It’s similar to ordering a frozen color bc it’s not a standard offering on the F90. It’s $5900

Done! At this moment I’ve chosen Silverstone II! Really hoping this is it and I don’t change my mind again

Since it’s now an individual color I’m thiking I’ll be one of the few that will have this color on the F90. I think that will make my M5 purchase feel more special and exclusive?

Of the 3,700+ F90's that have been built so far, only 2 are Silverstone II and both are in Europe, so yours will be pretty exclusive (for now)

No date yet. I’ve given my dealer the deposit, I’m just waiting for the 2019’s. Decided to wait because I want to look at the CP package (even though I most likely will not get it), and to let all the 2018 issues be worked out.

I'm on the same boat waiting for the 19's with a deposit already in place and like you, will be going with an Individual color.

Do you have any information on the ZCP? My dealer just indicated June but tbh I'm not sure anyone actually knows.
