LCI Front suspension question

Hi All, my new LCI M5 seems to have gotten a bit firmer at the front suspension!!, jacked it up to find at the top of the leg a yellow two piece bun looking thing.
Should it be their?. Thanks
Only covered 600 miles.

Just found a picture of it, it should be in place.

First thing I thought of were the shipping blocks that apparently were forgotten to be removed from a number of pre LCI vehicles.
