Long time lurker. This place has been beyond helpful.

Just pulled the trigger on a 2021 M5C build. Very excited. Build slot in October, with delivery I am told November/December.

My current lease is up in November. Dealer said a one month extension is worst case scenario.

Only thing still not 100% set on is exterior/interior color (and calipers). Almost every previous car has been white or black, so its time for something with a little pop to it. Really loved the launch color (Imola), but can't justify the $5k adder for it. Leaning real hard towards Snapper Rocks. The dealer has a used car on the lot in this color, going to go see it in person sometime in the next few days. I think red calipers would stand out nice with this color. Have had to live with the UK configurator to visualize .

3yr/12k = $1,315 w/tax.

I will probably go over the 36k miles (as my current lease will be turned in around 45k miles), but at 30cents a mile to buy past that, it really doesn't make sense to jump to 15k/year with the 2% residual hit.

Crossing my fingers the incentives get better by the end of the year.

I suppose, went into my dealer this weekend to inquire about a 21 M5C order for individual color and they told me 12-16 weeks which i thought was excessive.

Also what is the exact cost for individual color 5K?

Snapper rocks was a standard color for my order.

Update.... Mine just flipped to "Scheduled for Production". Called the automated line last night and it doesn't provide a date yet. Will email my CA, today for an update.

Also waiting for the port installed accessory list from my CA. Debating about the Pro spoiler. Want to get something like that added to the order, so it gets depreciated in the lease, not a full payment for it at signing.

Dealer wasn't able to get me the accessory list with part numbers. He did send me the screen shots from there system showing the "VIA Options" which provide the 3 letter/digit codes and descriptions. He also said pricing was not listed.

I had them add the "ZJA - Rear Spoiler Carbon Pro". They confirmed today it was added at a price of $730. So I am able to get that at the 9% off (discount off car list price) and rolled into the lease.

Located in greater Philly area. Have it in an email from my CA the cost. I wrote "Go ahead and add the ZJA "Rear Spoiler Carbon Pro" to the order. Let me know if it populates a price.", his response "$730 is the price and it has been added".

I guess I am good since I have it writing?? Waiting to see when it populates on the "My Garage" on the BMW website.

I just looked at my quote sheet, that's the price of the regular carbon spoiler not the pro ... you might want to have him double check so you don't get the wrong one. I switched to the pro and I love it.

It's beyond frustrating how this LCI process has been. I literally spell out the order code and they still get it wrong. I am half tempted to let it go to see what shows.... Then hold it over their head when it arrives wrong. Not to mention here we are, months after production started and weeks after cars have landed in the US, they still don't have a published port installed accessory list for dealers, and the online configurator is still glitchy.

He is correct the M Pro Carbon Spoiler is no way 730. There are two diff spoilers you can order looks like you ordered the same spoiler that comes standard on car but in CF

Yep. Looks like by the pricing they added the one I have on my M550i, which is the standard, in Carbon Fiber.

My car flipped into production, this morning. Not sure if the build is locked or not at this point, but I would imagine it is. With the spoiler as a port accessory, not sure if it can still be modified. Have the email from the CA stating the "Pro" was added to the build, including my email showing the correct code. Guessing they fat fingered the order or just read the pricing wrong.

I am going to ask for an updated build sheet from the CA.
