They started to squeal about 3 months ago but very mild and goes away with hard braking.

No difference between ACG and Porterfield.

Nuts this is the only option at this point in time as there were plenty of options for F10 M5's.

Good luck.
Very helpful, thanks Jose!

I see you are in Miami..I am as well. I'm not a do-it-yourselfer so I'll need to take this to a shop. Do you recommend anyone in the area?
Velos - they're close to Tamiami Airport and have done all of my M5's.

PM me your mobile # and I can loop you in with Omar who is the owner.

Received notification from EBC that the Red Stuff brake pads are now available for the F90 (front). Part number: DP32320C

Street pad, don't track my M5 - thinking this might be a good alternative to school bus squeal. Anyone tried yet?

I've not tried on current F90 M5C but did have them on 2 F10 M5's and they worked well.

Can you tell if the squeaking is coming from the front or rear brakes?

Just ordered the Porterfields from Ben at RG Sport. Can't take the squealing anymore myself, it's relentless. I don't track my M5C, so I will accept some potential performance tradeoff at this point.

I'm two months in now with the Porterfields and they squeak, maybe not as grindingly as stock, but they aren't anything close to silent. Yes, I did bed them and I had the install done by a local high end aftermarket shop. I had exactly 5 blissful days of quiet braking before that wrenching sound began again. Of course, it helps to wash them thoroughly, which will give me a day or two of relief, but this didn't solve the problem.

No matter which pad you use, you need to apply anti-squeal paste to the contact points of the pads. My Porterfields do not squeak at all after about a month.
