Ask your dealer. It was included with mine.

The only one that came with mine was the one you drill with. Dealer didn't give me another one. They gave you a separate one that no drilling is needed?

Skene design makes a bracket that you drill under the bumper and then it comes up over the front so you don't have to drill any visible holes anywhere. I would post a pic of mine but I don't have the car at the moment.

This is the best picture I currently have of it lying around, you can kinda see its drilled in the inside top part where the goes into the grill and then a small bracket comes up on each side to hold the plate

tow hook mount:
http://www.usmillworks.com/bmw_front..._tow_hook.html
A little bit of fiddling required if you have parking sensors but it can be done.

Drill underside of bumper section only:

Dealer brackets require drilling; the OP specifically requested one that doesn't.

This thread should give the OP a few options.

Tow hook bracket will be the route to go if you want no drilling, check on on eBay - there are a good amount. I have it on my MB.

I like the mounting solution offered in this post. I won't have my car for a couple of months, but I think this is what I'm going to do.

Sorry, did not realize no-drilling for so important.

Could you explain why it is a big issue for you?

Many people don't want big holes in their bumper. I was interviewing for jobs in a state that didn't require front plates when I got my F30 so I got the US millworks bracket with the intention of not needing the plate much longer. Also is less desirable if you go to sell your car out of state (2/5th's of the US do not require front plates).

Never happened, but either way front plates are ugly and if I'm taking photos I would rather undo my tow hook mount and not have to photoshop out a plate or holes.

So unless you plan to move the main point is to make your car better for the next owner? I would refer prospective buyer to the BumperPlugs.com ;-)

I have the US Millworks setup for both my 135 and my wife's Z4. Quality of the bracket is very good, not too difficult to put together and is super easy to attach and remove when you want to. I like the offset look, and it puts no holes in the bumper.

No. The main point is to not have holes drilled into your bumper when you have a choice not to. Just not something most who are into their cars want done. My dealership manager was waiting with the front plate bc he wanted permission before he drilled into my car. Yours should have done the same before installing it.

No the main point is it looks like shit and I'd rather pay the $30 parking ticket I get once a year than drive around with a bright yellow bucktooth on my car.

I will say that in NY it is far worse ever since they made our plates into old mustard color. Why they couldn't stay white like nearly every other license plate on earth is beyond me.

You should consider the bracket here:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/171710624568...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

No visible holes & remove/replace in an instant. I won't mount the front plate unless I'm forced but this is an elegant solution.

I would be concerned with that solution if you're driving with it on. Mounting the plate directly in front of the IC/radiator is going to cut down heavily on the airflow. You're going to create a huge amount of turbulent air directly in front of the area you want air to flow smoothly through. Probably fine for daily driving but for a car with no temperature gauges that makes me super nervous.

If it were a permanent mount I might share your airflow concerns. However, my use would extend only to the rare time that I may be asked by a LEO where the plate is! If I can mount it to avoid a citation it will have served its purpose.

I've driven in Texas without front plates since 2008 without a problem (knock wood) but Big Mike's bracket will afford me some feeling of security.

+1 on ruining the look of the front end. I am going to see how long I can get away with not having a front license plate here in Jersey. I have a US millworks bracket standing by if needed.

I'll be doing the same in NJ! I'll be ordering the US Millworks bracket after my first issue.

But if it is covered by the plate, who cares?

Ok, then just don't put the license plate at all. My question was specifically about the case when you have a plate but bothered by the hidden holes in the bumper.
