It won't be less noticeable ... I would explore the possibility of having them repaired w/ touch up paint and then possibly PPF to prevent further damage.

If you repaint then you can't do PPF for a few weeks until the new paint has fully cured. Fresh paint will outgas for a time and cause bubbles under PPF if you wrap it too soon.
