2020 M5 comp 1/4 0-60 and 60-130

Hey guys, new to F90 platform but have been F10 550i owner for about 7 years.

my stock 2020 M5 comp ran:

0-60 @ 2.91
10.75 @ 125 MPH
60-130 @ 8.18

Are those numbers on par with other M5 comp ?

Thank you

Nice car! Dope pics! Love the contrast! I can only imagine the fun to be had in that empty parking lot. 😅👌

Similar to what mine runs. The M5 is crazy quick. I think objectively it's one of the best cars in the world.

My first dragy today. 84F TX heat with full tank of gas, kid and 30lbs in trunk. I think with lower gas and better temps I can do better. Eurocharged Stage 1 tune.

1/4 mile was 126.86mph

Man I gotta get my numbers better. What temps did U do the run with. I think temp plays a big role. It's been hot here.

Did you log the run? I'd be willing to bet you are seeing large throttle closures, which are keeping your top end power levels just a tad higher than stock. I had the same tune and had similar results. See if EC will work with you, or just get a different file. Switch to another stage 1 file and you'll likely start trapping about 130mph, which is typical for a mild stage 1 file, even in 84 degree heat...YMMV, but that was my experience.

I'll ask them let's see. First I was happy to be under 3 but now I'm pissed. With over 100 hp n 140tq over stock I should be faster.

Don't mean to mess up OP's thread. PM me if you like. I've had EC tunes on several AMGs and they were good. This file just isn't fast and doesn't make good power on the street.

It does have low end grunt, but no top end at all.

Personal experience with my 2019 and buddies with 2020 model, forums etc.
stock numbers differ a lot of times with same conditions. Also, seen a few members here said this as well... not sure why but seems to be truth 🤷🏻*♂️

What's your DA according to dragy? badblack550xi shows -288 which is more than ideal. If your DA is 1800+, don't get too wrapped up in comparing times to someone in the negatives (tuned or not). I've ran my car at +2xxx DA and +1000 and the change in numbers are relatively huge.

Figured it out. 3755 which I assume is real high.

Did a mild stage 1 tune time got better, will be logging this week to add a bit more power. Problem with 2020 the TCU can't be tuned yet like the 2018-2019 cars. I noticed with increased power the launch control is having problems handling the extra power.
