Says the pics are attached

EDIT: pic won't upload (unless others can see it and I can't). If you care DM me an email address and I can forward it. Car is in a color that looks like carbon blue but slightly more blue and has a distinct hood to what we've seen so far (it appears) with the two squared off bulges

If you're trying to upload from the App make sure you have the latest version which corrects the uploading issue.

If I had to predict...

External changes:

What I hope will not happen... but fear it will happen anyway... bigger kidneys, not as big as the new 4 series... but bigger than they are now. Lights (front and back which is obvious).

Interior changes:

Most probably we will see the M8 interior in the M5.

I really don't like the interior introduced with the new 3 series - it looks to VWish compared to now.
For me the 2020 is somewhat of a sweet spot, the original design with iDrive 7.

I'm not sure they could retrofit the new BMW interior into a predesigned model... The measurements wouldn't be the same, wiring is different (button placements like the ignition button is now on the center console, etc) new dash and center cut outs would have to be made... Carpet would have new measurements, seat rail placement, etc etc...

I guess not that it's impossible, just seems like it wouldn't be cost effective... As a car guy, I'd love it, but the logical/business side says - seems like a waste of money and resources...

The rest of it sounds very achievable, so I'm pretty sure you nailed them...

Sorry to say this, G30 ICON adaptive light is the best in my opinion both as day light running and when in full at night

At least they keep the kidney grille size normal. That is great news.

The F90 M5 looks so great, I wonder how they can improve on perfection?

By making the interior look more 8 series-like.

bit of a pipe dream... LCI refreshes on interiors normally class it up a tiny bit but rarely (if ever?) make fundamental changes to interior layout. Maybe they add ceramic controls, change some trim details, different stitching in the leather, new color options, etc...

But its not going to look like 8 series interior.

yes because an updated automobile is more important than a pandemic.

I know it’s a pipe dream, but the few things you mentioned would be enough changes for me.

The 8 series interior isn't that good? It doesn't even have a touchscreen A/C/heat controls....

I think it actually looks really basic......

I actually think buttons look and feel better than touchscreen, and I salute BMW for keeping them over laggy fingerprint stain touchscreens.
