As far as I know they did what they were supposed to according to the invoice.

Sewell has treated me well; even after I took my M4 back after a service that required the plugs to be changed. I was PISSED! But they took care of me. Long story short, they had gotten and installed a bad batch of plugs.
Just curious
My car is alerting me for 7500 miles service,
Did it do same for the 1200 miles ?
Did it have an alert for service for the break in service ?
Actually, the alert for the 1200 was there when I drove off the lot w/3 miles.

I haven't seen my car in 6 weeks or so following an accident on Christmas Eve. Apparently, the steering rack arrives from Germany this week so time to re-acquaint myself with her and post a few old photos.

Not really, do I need them?
Researched that and consensus 10mm upfront and maybe 5-10mm in the back!

Curious to know downside of having them? Assuming they don't stick out enough to cause friction with fenders

I'll start with the downside: none as long as you don't overdo it. There's no rubbing of any kind with my current setup.

You certainly don't need them per se but it makes a very positive difference to the apparent aggression in the stance of the car. Size-wise, I went with 13mm front (as did Vic from these forums) and 10mm rear. Shortly afterwards, I upgraded my tires to Michelin Pilot SuperSports with 295s on the rear. Given the increased width combined with the Michelin wheel-protector rim, I decided to remove the rear spacers completely... for one day. It still looked only OK from the rear, so we put the 10mm back on--ah, happy now. If you're still wearing 285s in the rear, you could go even larger.

I got mine from Burger Tuning: http://www.burgertuning.com/BMW_wheel_spacers.html

Heard downside can be wider turning radius ?

Nod, just like my M5s, M6s and E63S. My RS7 wore 275s stock which looked absurd so I changed those, too. To be honest, I did it mostly for aesthetics but it did help with launches on these cold days in that it hooked up a little better... but that could simply be as a result of Michelins being a superior product to the Pirellis.

I used RWD-mode twice for the 2 months or so I had the car. Unless there's a need for a burnout or donuts or I'm at a track, I'll never use it again...

I can only say that I've put spacers on every single one of my cars over the past 10 years or so and I've never noticed a negative effect on the vehicle's turning circle.

Nice!

What color options did you go for inside? I chose Silverstone and had to hunt for a car with the extended leather (as opposed to full) since it seemed a little too much to me. Aside from not seeing the car for ages, I couldn't be happier.

Glad to hear I'm not alone in that disdain for RWD all the time without DSC!

Black everything (aluminum carbon)...at first was dying for silverstone (in person it’s even more beautiful) ...but with the kids in the back the black is perfect.
