Made a food take-out run tonight. Miles to and from the restaurant should have only been 3 miles. For some reason my trip ended up around 12 miles...and I may have accidentally used launch control a few times.

Squats on point. For better gas pedal pressing.

H&R 550 springs with H&R spacers (15mm front and 11mm rear). Well worth the (small) investment.

I have the HAS kit on standby, these springs are not tolerable for much longer.

That's surprising to hear as I've found the ride quality on my M5C with the H&R 550 springs to be near OEM on comfort (almost more compliant by my seat of the pants feel) and sport settings. Sport+ is a bit of a different story on the M5C but that's always been the case. Sport+ isn't really intended for regular street driving unless you live in an area with very smooth streets. I read somewhere that when BMW tested the M5C on the Nurburgring they kept it in the sport setting (not sport+) for that very reason. In any event, I hope the HAS system meets your expectations. Best of luck.

I have a comp too and last week put on HR m550. On sports plus setting, it definitely rides better than stock IMO. It feels grippier and more reactive. But I don't drive it like this day in and day out, only when I want to step on it. On comfort I feel as it bounces a little too much. I'm being very picky though. It being a competition package, the springs it came with were already very aggressive, stiff and tight. Like so much that if I rode on sports plus for a while, my back and butt would hurt after. Which is why I drive on comfort daily (while having steering on sport and engine on sports plus). I feel that with these springs, the sports plus setting loosen up a little and it's actually really comfortable, more than before if that makes any sense. That's my report.

I've owned both and will tell you not too expect a monumental difference from the HAS kit. Not sure what you dislike but you may want to explore coils if you're really seeking a vast improvement.

How do you open the driver side door after getting in the garage? Or do you go out the passenger side?

I need to see coils at a much more cost effective price range for the functionality that I need. V4 is not wha I need nor what I want to spend. If they made a V2 lol I would be fine.

I feel as though once settled the springs are bouncy at speed and bumpy on roads. The stock suspension was super comfortable and would absorb more impact on the roads here. NJ is not a great place to have low cars.

Is your car a Base or M5C? I responded w/o asking and that may factor into the equation given the different suspension set up.

I feel the HR550i works well when compared to the stock M5C suspension and exhibits similar characteristics but softens up the harshness a bit, more so in Comfort (I generally always drive in Sport).

The KW HAS set to a height similar as H&R felt harsher than OEM and exhibited more rebound.
