“Designed for more than looks. The BMW M5 Competition Sedan shows off its attitude and ambition in every asset. With a chassis that’s enhanced and lowered to improve driving dynamics and the added power transfer of M xDrive all-wheel drive, you’ll benefit from every bit of this beauty’s 617 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque in a 0-60 mph time of just 3.1 seconds.“ BMW USA site.

He's exaggerating a little. In 3 years it'll be closer to 50%.

Sounds like it. I did a quick look at KBB :
"The 2015 BMW 5 Series has a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) starting just over $50,000 for a base 528i. Prices increase by several thousand dollars as you climb trims, with a 535i starting over $56,000 and a 550i debuting beyond $65,000. The sizzling M5 begins around $93,000." The 2015 actual list for sale were $56,000 to $62,000. If you found something decent at $52,000/$93,000 = 56% |

That was my thought too. The F80 has a massive rear and would have liked that on the F90. The M5 has always been understated so I get the tradition of keeping it tame too.

Some of you people may be too young to remember the original M5 (E28) or even 2nd gen (E34) that looked almost identical to their lesser siblings. M5 is supposedly about understated elegance, beauty and competence with unfaltering capabilities. It's a car with all go but little show. If you want "hey, look at me" type of loud and attention, I believer there is a brand associated with a bull (or was it an ox?) that is pretty good at doing so.

Love the car but the wheel options on the M5 CP or non-CP are just garbage. BMW normally hits on their wheels for all their cars....but the stock rims are just horrible. They don't look aggressive, at all. It actually subtracts from the car. It looks like cheap Chinese garbage.
I think the best OEM 5-series wheels are still the 5-spokes on the M550i. It's a midsize sports sedan....it need a sleek wheel.
