Reset "learned" driving characteristics?

Is there still a way to reset the learned driving characteristics?

Say, after a long highway drive, the throttle responsiveness is a little sluggish.

In previous BMWs there was a 25 second reset by holding down the accelerator for 25 sec while car was in on position.

Thanks!

Perhaps in some previous models,...I once read some where,...if you turned the key to "On",...dash lights on vehicle not started,....wait 20-secs or so, then turn "Off" and start the vehicle resets the engine/DME to "0". I'm sure this worked for my 2005 X5 4.8is,...at least something happened! Hth

By saying "say" have you experienced this in the M or assuming? I have 700 miles on the car in as many days and have driven it mostly on highways. I've not noticed any difference in throttle response.

I'm at about 3300 miles (and still no rear diff fluid, haha), and maybe I'm just getting used to all the torque, but it feels a little lagg-ier. on the throttle.

You must have the worst dealer ever !

If I were you , I wouldn't drive the car until the oil has been changed.

Just borrow a car from your dealer until he gets the oil , you'll see how quickly his gonna have it !
