Frozen Dark Silver - which interior color?
I am about to place an order for Frozen Dark Silver.
My choice is between two color options for the interior: 1. Individual Tartufo 2. Full Merino Silverstone In principle I like the Individual Tartufo more in comparison to Full Merino Silverstone as it has contrast stitching and in general looks nicer. As a result I have almost made a decision in favor of Tartufo. But at the same time... When I looked at cars with Frozen Dark Silver on the internet I found those with Silverstone interior combo only. None of those had brown interior. When I looked at those pictures I began to hesitate if Tartufo interior would be a perfect fit for Frozen Dark Silver. On any black and blue colors I would take Tartufo without any doubt. But I have doubts for it to be a good match for Frozen Dark Silver. The difference between these 2 options in total cost is irrelevant, which is around $1000, being nothing if you buy a car with nearly all possible options and already pay a lot. I would appreciate your thoughts on the above. Last edited by kart driver; 07-12-2018 at 04:19 PM.. |

Cost no object, Tartufo without a doubt. It would be perfect with that color. It looks stunning with silver, DG and SG. I am ordering it with DG.
My guess it will be underrepresented in internet photos because of it's cost. There will be fewer cars with a $5,000 interior than free Silverstone.

Looking at the above pictures just at the interrior alone, Tartufo seems to be a clear winner. But when looking at the below pictured I am not sure that Silverstone is a bad fit and in fact may fit even better than Tartufo. Any suggestions? Last edited by kart driver; 07-12-2018 at 03:38 PM.. |

Search for the British Racing Green car and an Imola Red one, those threads have pics of the caramel. Of the ready order individual leather for F90 its really nice. Tartufo is very dark

Nothing wrong with free. Silverstone it is.
Neither provides enough contrast with DG in my opinion. Both too pale. With MB, SG l love Silverstone.

I need to finalize the order this week. Tried to find M5 with Tartufo individual interior to have a look, but they just don’t have it in Munich area.
Need to take a decision based on photos on the internet (( |

At night the LED lights reflect off of the Silverstone interior very well and the whole interior lights up with whatever color you choose. I can't imagine that looks very good with any of the browns. I have full Silverstone and love it.

Just an update.
I had a chance to see cars with: - Full Merino Aragon Brown: Second priority on my list at the moment. I like the tone of the leathe itself, but the contrast stitching is missing there (( If it had the consptrast stitching I would definitely go for it. - Individual Smoke White with red stitching (Firts Edition Interrior): Wow! What a beaty! I checked with bmw dealer and they cand provide it as it is. They just do it as individual order, which will cost +$11 500 on top of the cost which you pay for Individual Smoke white. NO GO for me due to crazy money. - Full Merino Silverstone Too grey and no contrast stitching. I would order it only if the above two options were not available. - Individual Tartufo: definite NO for my liking. The contrast stitching is nice but I just don’t like Tartufo’s color itself. On the pictures it looked nice, in real life I didn’t like it As a summary to the above, I am leaning towards Smoke Individual (unfortunately without the red stitching). The only problem - I didn’t see one in person without the red stitching. And I can’t find good quality pictures of this interrior on the internet. Can anybody help?
