Interested to see how people feel about the design; I think the front looks similar to the //M2 front, and people knocked that for being too busy. Many //M2'ers also were/are up in arms about it not having "//M" mirrors...

This aggressive as f--k! Definitely the most aggressive looking ///M car I've ever seen or BMW ever has had. I'm on board with this!

The difference is the 5er being a bigger and wider car can have a busier looking front fascia/bumper and it looks proportional. The M2 aero kit looks weird (and bad to some people) because the gaps/openings looked oversized (it pretty much is, taking an X5/X6M inspired bumper) for the body and that's before discussing the fangs which I think was a huge mistake.

One of the 'Ring videos has it extremely well disguised. With a little patience watching the brake illumination patterns closely, it can be faintly made out.
