Had to get tire patched.....OK to drive on?
I don't have many miles on these tires....maybe 3,000 (Pirelli P-Zeros). I was up north this weekend and ran over a staple of some sort (driver front tire). They were able to patch the tire fine.
Is this something that needs to be replaced still? I just hate to toss a pretty new tire....or can I run fine on this until I need new tires?

You should be fine depending on where the patch was placed. Most tire stores wont patch too close to the sidewall so Im sure you are good.
Patches are reliable if applied correctly.

I agree with Vic. I assume you didn't get the tire warranty when you purchased the car? If you did, that's an easy replacement for a new tire and probably will only cost you the $50 deductible.

I'll just drive it until I need new tires and replace then.....the patch is like 2 inches in from the inner sidewall so it should be fine.

I have plugged tires several times, RS6, Sienna, Civic, Q7, all were able to keep on trucking until the tread bars were nearly gone. LOL. Patch.....those are actually better, but requires going to the shop, unmounting tire from rim, etc, I just keep a plug kit in the trunk of all my cars. Very easy to use at the road side, but I have been luck enough to only have to do this in my garage.
They will always try to sell you a new tire.... Mike

I have a plug on my front summer tyre, and added a patch as well once I put back on the summers. Going strong.
