Unhappy High pitched whistling coming from front speakers

My BMW F90 M5 produces annoying high pitched whistle as described bellow:
  • It comes only from BOTH FRONT TREBLE speakers in A pillars.
  • Volume of that whistle is QUITE LOW but due to very high frequency it is pretty annoying.
  • Once you catch that sound you cant forget it.
  • It begins few minutes after car goes live (Head Unit starts).
  • It is not depended/connected to anything - it sounds with audio off/on, BT phone connected/disconected, engine started/stoped.
  • It stops only when the car is completely turned off and Head Unit dies to black screen.

My car was produced during july 2019 so it has iDrive 7 with Live Cockpit and it has HK audio option. In this configuration sound to front speakers is amplified through RAM (Receiver Audio Module) High. Cross-overs are probably located inside mid-range speakers in front doors because treble speakers are connected to them.

My dealer/shop tried to fix it but electrician blindly followed some misinformations in Puma database and changed main Head Unit. It didnt help off course. So I will give them another attempt. Meanwhile I appreciate if anyone could direct me to possible solution or thread somewhere else?

Does the sound change pitch when you rev the engine? If yes, then it is alternator whine which is caused by a poor earth connection somewhere in the audio chain.

No. It is the same frequency/pitch and volume whole time
