Got to say the black bottom section of the comp bumper is growing on me...
Is that a reflector by the left end of the bumper?

It's not you. The black wheels are the only acceptable looking wheels available on the F90.

Yes that's exactly what it is.

First thing to go to.

Latest standard Panamera loses everywhere to the F90. Step up to the 680hp Panamera and spend $200k and still accelerate slower and handle worse since it weighs 5200lbs !

I love the guys comment..."I have to come on the throttle later to try to catch the M5 at the right spot".....pull him out of the driver's seat... LC used as designed gets me 11.2's all day long at plus 4000ft DA......not 11.5x lol.....

That for sure didn't happen when the F10 M came out.... that E60 was ugly :
Agreed. I had instant Love for the F10. I fell in love with it when Rpim5 posted his pics from his ED on a early production F10 m5.
Haha! Yes I was in love too, still am. Although, I am one of the few who still absolutely love the E60 M5 design. The F10 M5 was worlds apart in design philosophy and they just did everything absolutely right when they designed something away from the E60. The F90 on the other hand bears far too many similarities to both the F10 M5 and the F15 X5M, but more so the X5M. They weren't bold enough with this F90, and from many angles the proportions of the car looks too tall in relation to its length and width. They should have at least made a definitive effort to really make the F90 stand out width-wise from the F10, just as they did between the F82 M4 and the E92 M3. Broader shoulders with at least an 1/2 inch wider chassis, would have made the F90 M5 more bespoke for its generation. Instead the F90 always looks taller than the F10 to me.

I can't believe it's been just about 6 years ago since I did Euro Delivery. Good memories.

Totally agree, the CP wheels are horrible.

I feel that they look aftermarket perhaps but not horrible, I quite like them myself.

Most importantly for me they are forged and will be some amount lighter than the standard 20" wheels - exactly how much hasn't been published yet but I'm sure it will be a reasonable amount.

They also fix the weirdness with the spokes being different lengths on the stock 20" wheels. If you look at this pic you'll see that starting from about 2 o'clock: (top ones are too dark)

The first spoke is longer and has a small hole in it then the bottom half of that pair is shorter and stops before the nut.

The next pair of spokes both go the whole way to the centre and the one at about 5 o'clock has a hole in it too.

The ones at 6 o'clock have different lengths but no holes in them, this is repeated with the ones at about 8 o'clock but those ones are the other way around.

It is the most hap-hazard wheel design I've ever seen!

The standard (non-competition) 20" are also forged according to the BMW technical training document. The 19" are cast.

BMW USA also said the 601m were forged (they aren't), 343m silver weren't (they are) and 343m were (they got one right). I don't believe the 706m are, but we'll see in due course. Check out the F10 forum for the discussion there.

Yup that's a reflector. If I'm being honest I personally don't mind them that much.

No. That was the regular F90, not the Competition.

That is weird. There is bilateral symmetry of the ///M logo is at dead 6 o'clock position...then the left half of the wheel is a mirror reflection of the right half...but that's the only orientation of symmetry there is on the wheel. Otherwise it's a mess.
