Those seats! It's an awesome car!

Audi is a rebadged Tycan, ehh
I'm sure it's quick, but no feeling, like the tesla

I get it that cars are getting bigger, but I was not impressed.
True but is this near 5000-lb Audi EV going to be any better? M5 is definitely the more engaging car. We are talking a solid 800-900 lbs difference between the e-Tron and M5 CS.

I understand the hype around the M driving dynamics but the design on that Audi is perfect.

The design may be perfect, but too heavy a car for me.

I don't agree with some of the comments regarding the F90. I think it is the hottest sedan out. Facelift E63 is visually a turd from the front. BMW nailed the F90 LCI. How is it dated when it has been out a year or less? I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Electric cars definitely aren't lightweights and it shows

And they won't be until batteries get lighter and more compact

The Audi and for that matter the Porsche are way better looking than a Tesla. I would buy either before a Tesla

For the few people in Europe who are just getting their M5 CS deliveries could you give a review of the daily driving of this car outside the motorway. Thx
The Top Gear mag and Car Magazine reviews were on road and both said the CS was more complaint and comfortable than an M5C.

In line with the way an M2 CS is more comfortable and rides better than an M2C.

While I like the frontend of the Audi - it looks nice, I really hate that rearend, too round, too big taillights, too weird imo, I would have liked a classical 3-Box design much more.

CH said something like: if you can than you should while you can. I think that nails it for the M5CS. There will be a lot of EV's that are good or even better in the future, but until then

An other point is, I mentioned that already in an other thread, I don't think that the Audi is technically a big step forward in the EV segment, just by looking at the specs. And I am
pretty sure that the 22' Model S will smash it in everything that is important, connectivity, performance, battery range and charging speed. The built quality in the Audi will still be the best you can get for sure.

Unfortunately, the F90 is the last of non-hybrid/electric M5s. If you like an internal combustion engine in your M5 - better buy one now. I assume the 23 model is the end of the F90. 😞

I know it’s a bit counter intuitive to wish bad things on a great car, but I wish the CS depreciates like a rock, so that I can buy a mildly enjoyed one in a few years for half the price.

It would make an incredible daily driver...

The M5 CS is the best looking 4 door in the current BMW lineup, and I would buy it in a heartbeat if I had discretionary funds. I'm guessing it will depreciate initially after 2-5 years, and would love to snag one. I think it will hold after that and probably even appreciate after 10-15 years time.

Speed has become a given in today’s performance cars. Driver enjoyment is becoming the rare characteristic.

This is my opinion but I was just never sold on the current M5 looks. It just looks so boring and laid back for a car of its kind. They are on every other block in Brooklyn where I'm from and I see them often. Definitely a great performer that's without a doubt but I wish it was more aggressive looking.

Fun facts:

2021 Porsche Taycan: > 5,100lbs
2022 Ford F-150 Lightning: > 6,500lbs
2022 Electric Hummer: > 9,000lbs
2021 Tesla Model S: > 4,900lbs

2021 RWD G80 M3: < 3,800lbs
2022 xDrive G80 M3: < 3,900lbs
2022 RWD Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing: < 4,100lbs
2021 AWD F90 M5CS: < 4,300lbs
2021 VW Jetta GLI 6MT: < 3,200lbs

Not EVERYONE wants an Electric Vehicle in the future.

I'll be flabbergasted if BMW makes a Hybridized or fully Electric G90 M5 that weighs less than 4,800lbs.

Even though some countries and some U.S. states are banning the sale of gasoline powered cars by 2025 or 2030 or 2045, gas powered cars aren't going anywhere for at least another 50 years from now.

But yeah the M5CS, probably one of the last great Sport Sedans to ever be produced. Get em while you can.

Then there's always the Porsche GT3.

They are quite colour sensitive. The dark blue ones with dark grilles usually look mean with road presence

Well, historically, the M5 has always been advertised as a wolf in sheep's clothing, so I don't think it was ever supposed to be aggressive. That is what the M2 & M3 are for.

Personally, I like that the M5 is understated on exterior design.

If you need it to stand out more, you can get it in Frozen Deep Green. Personally, i'll have mine in Brands Hatch Metallic.

My biggest problem with the looks is the decision to use gold on the grills, rather than other areas. Limits the color choice pretty significantly, and then they only did a single non-frozen color. Would have liked more color choices on the CS, cause its clearly a superior car to the M5C.
