Differences in 2019 vs 2020+ M5?

I can't recall if there are any major visual or mechanical differences between the years, as for the LCI when was it changed over?

In the LCI 2021 did they change the climate control buttons to physical buttons for the heated and vented seats, air speed etc?

I can't recall if CF trim on the mirrors was an OEM option or not? I know the roof, spolier and from air dam is factory iirc?

I have not verified this is correct, but I read of a change in the metal used for the spray in cylinder liners.

CF mirror caps are available as Genuine BMW M Performance Parts as port installed (if ordered) or dealer installed (sometimes for dealer stock cars, sometimes by a customer's request) options.

The only "standard" CF piece from the factory is the roof, whether pre-LCI or LCI, if the car is not optioned with the moonroof. The spoiler and the air dams are body color as standard. You can select the MPP CF ones for both in one of the two ways above, if you want the car to come with it, however.

Same. The physical buttons for the climate control was only available if you did not have 4 zone climate control (the touch LCD is part of the 4 zone climate control). As of MY2020 and on, 4 Zone Climate Control here in the States is standard.

MY2020 had the digital speedometer and new steering wheel buttons. MY21 had the facelift for front and rear lights, new M810 wheel option, new iDrive 7 with bigger center display, new M model display, reconfigured "setup" button by the shifter, digital key, remote start preconditioning and updated dampers (Comp models only).
