M2C 641M winter setup
I am thinking about getting a set of the 641m winter wheels 19x8.5 and 19x9 with a set of conti vikingcontact 7 235/35/19. Anyone see a reason this will not work? I was also thinking about doing the 19x8.5 square. Getbmwparts doesnt list the offsets for the "m2" 641m only for the m3/m4 641m....are these the same wheels or do they make the 641m with different offsets for the m2 and m3? Thanks guys

641M wheels are the same whether they’re spec’d for M2 or M3/4. The only difference is that they are fitted with 255s for the M3/4 versus 235s for M2.
I have a set with Michelin Alpins. |

Thanks, where do you live if you don't mind me asking. I'm in Montana so we get nasty winters. I'm worried the alpins won't be enough. Do you think the fronts would fit on the rear? Maybe spacers needed?

I’m in NW Ohio so these are fine for there. Based on where you are, you will probably need full on winter tires. 235s all around would probably be best.

Yea I think that is something I won't be able to compromise on. I wonder if the 788m fronts fit the rear ok? Could do the viking7 235/35/19 with a square 788m setup.

Just purchased square vikingcontact7 235/35/19 on apex sm-10 19x9 et30. Hopefully will work as well as square vikingcontact7 205/55/16 did on my s2000. Drove through really bad snows with that setup.
