I honestly can't wait for mine, always wanted a track focused 4 seater. This will do the trick.. green monster with gold will be epic! Beast will sit nicely next to my M2CS.. cheers all.

Beautiful car. Does not look "Fast & Furious" cheap. Very elegant and unique approach.

Absolutely NO to the black grille. Black grille needs to stay on the remaining 12 million BMWs.

Agreed. This car does not need to be blacked out.

There is a video three posts above that show his collection in Munich (?)
If you are referring to the one with "Seen Through Glass", where can you see it's in Munich?

Agreed. Here says he's based in Munich.
But that post was not in any earlier posts.
And he really does what he can to hide his location.
I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere in his or other youtubers videos

I understand neither your post nor your excessive use of question marks. No one is denying he has a bunch of great cars. Shmee has a great collection of amazing cars, but his reviewing skills and voice are incredibly annoying.

Likewise, this dude has an impressive collection (except for the M5 CS) but appears to be someone less than desirable to hang with based on his voice, commentary, gait, demeanor, and choice in helmet design.

It's is pricey but it is a lot of stuff. I have two orders in already. One filled allocation , one waiting for a build slot. There is a market. M5 comp is as far as I go. $$ enough as it is lol

Not gonna lie. This made me lol when I saw that you have a "special edition" M4.

No slight at all to the CS as I have one as well. Just funny because people can easily same the same thing about our cars as well (and they did).

I'm excited for the M5CS personally. I've got one lined up for when my lease ends in December. As for those who don't like them, no biggie. It's like art, everything is in the eye of the beholder.
Well...my point was that the M3/4 is much more trackable (less weight, more nimble, less consumables) than the M5. I got a great lease deal on my CS (I'd never have paid sticker) and I track b/w 10-16 days a year. It's fits my use case very well.

Not saying that the M5 is untrackable, but you will feel its weight when you toss it around and consumables will be higher. I've seen very few M5s on track compared to quite many M2/3/4. M5 was always more of a luxury cruiser. Shedding 150lbs on a 4300+ (?) lbs porker and it's still a porker. N'ring embroidery on the headrest? Lol, do they even have an official lap time? Tacky is what comes to my mind when I see this car. And sticker price? Oooof.

It's like if Porsche had released a Panamera GT3/RS. They don't need to (and never will) milk their GTx moniker like BMW desperately milks their ///M moniker.
Porsche offers both Panamera, Cayenne and Macan in GTx models...

I should've been more specific. I meant their track focused GTx where x is a number. GT2/3 (RS).

Porsche would also never make a diesel... But you're right: M3 more agile than M5. M5 more capable on the Bahn... Comes down to preferences, I guess.

My reply was a response to someone claiming Porsche would never make a GTx version of those models... 😉

A GTS technically IS a GTx version 😉

Weight saving is ridiculous for such a big car.

dont worry, dealers will try and oversell the shit out of this thing and it will flop. Just like the M3/4 CS. Those things went on fire sale because nobody touched them because of ridiculous mark ups. Same will apply here.
Fire sale? Nobody touched them? Do you have dealer network information on when they were sold and how much each sold for. Curious what your source is.

BMW is offering a hardened version of a model I own and love that will undoubtedly deliver a more engaging driving experience. It won't be my daily driver so it's an emotional purchase that doesn't need to make sense.

The m5 is 4200lbs, they now make a CS version of it that saved what, 150lbs? whats that gonna do on a track? Anything thats 2 tons is not made to "track"

so again, this weight saving m5 makes no sense to me.

M3 and M2 can be a track car no issue.

This post mirrors much of the F8X community when our CS model came out. Bunch of ZCP owners angry there was another newer model lol.

The CS didn't sell well at all initially. BMW didn't even offer leasing on it. Around February 2019 BMW started cutting them loose with insane lease deals. There's a huge thread on F80post of hundreds of people getting lease deals in the ~700$/m range Around March-May 2019 and they started going FAST.

I supposedly got the last SMB M3cs left according to my dealer.. no idea if its true but the 3CS was limited to 509 some units in the US and they are all gone. The 4CS is fairly common though.

sources: https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1579046

Also myself, when I was calling around in April 2019 when this sale was going on many dealers were selling their CS models daily as all forum members suddenly dove on the lease deals. Lost two of them in a day because I didnt act quick enough.
