Quick update:

Just received Carbahn Monoballs and Rear arms to round out the suspension.

I have now been on the KW V4’s and 21” BBS FI-R’s for almost 5 months and wanted to provide some feedback on this setup.

The KW V4’s are simply perfection when it comes to balancing comfort, performance and aesthetics.

As I originally posted, and based on the recommendation from m5 guy I have stayed on the KW recommended settings and have been very pleased with this decision .

After settling, I had an alignment performed and the following are my observations.

- perfect balance of comfort and performance while remaining extremely compliant.

- minimal pitching and body roll into turns with the car remaining very planted.

- you really feel this suspension work over bumps and surfaces with minimal loading and almost no rebound. These KW dampers are insane.

- the biggest surprise, in my opinion, is the improvement in steering response with minimal input. Steering feel is much less numb.

As many know, I experimented with both KW HAS and HR 550’s on the F90 platform, and for the price point, they remain relevant options.

With that said, the KW V4’s are an amazing upgrade on this platform and adds substantial performance benefits to an already amazing suspension setup.

Many pros in this setup …. The only con may be the cost.

I’ll provide another update in the coming weeks after adding the Carbahn suspension upgrades.

Glad you are liking the setup! Just wait till you get the carbahn parts on. Really rounds out the package. Only thing missing now are swaybars, which both dinan and carbahn have made, but have not released. Hoping soon…
