after reading justins review, it seems like its giving a similar effect as a cold air intake would. no real difference, but keeps it away from heat soak. this is definitely a plus if you're in hot weather or run your car hard.

also seeing the IAT's being pretty consistent, im assuming it'll give more room for more boost as well

The stock intake is technically a "CAI", but there are gains with adding an intake :P. In addition, its better to have the motor suck in 75*F air in higher RPM than 100*F, so it does make a big difference and you can feel it on your buttocks. What I've noticed is something pretty awesome with the wastgate duty cycle and that it is a lot lower with the ER FMIC than the stock FMIC. This translates into the turbo working less to generate the same amount of boost and you can see it as a longevity mod as well. Here is a graph of the WDC -

Can you run map 5 on 91 octane with additon of 4 gal on e85 to each fill-up?

Yes, you can do that and its what I do. But if you don't have the EWG harness, you won't get the boost you want though.

Good info.....how soon will BMS release EWG harness out of beta testing??

No idea. They said beta testing is done and they are just waiting on mass producing the harness.
