I love those wheels! Much like the 2002 homage wheels. Just more concave!

That's a pretty aggressive rear diffuser, I'm not really sure everyone likes that's style. I'd be surprised if that was the oem rear, but I'd buy it.

I'll do you one better Scott26.

Still a render, but it's the best one I've seen to date. I have a feeling those wheels are going to be more accurate than we think.

Side view mirrors don't seem to be fully M'd out in the render though. And I do hope that the M side grills on the fenders are more aggressive on the real M5 too.

And not one fugly piece of efficient dynamics fascia to be seen. Thank god.

Seriously though -- the only piece of fake chrome on this car are those damn door handles... fix this this time -- if nothing else do the dark chrome like what was on the 30 jahre.

Every BMW undergoes a preliminary EfficientDynamics programme.
Aerodynamics is one factor that contributes to how an M car performs and the dramatic shapes shown on the latest M car Aerodynamics are functional rather than decorative form. Even the engines are developed to produce high performance with increased efficiency and lower emissions.

Porsche does it's dual clutch (PDK) with AWD.

I wonder if the M5 is dropping the DCT completely or there will be a RWD version with DCT and AWD version with auto.

I haven't owed a true automatic in over 20 years. I hear they have come a long way but no personal experience.

No problems with functional aerodynamics or efficiencies... but even in their current form, the ones on the new 5 are not the most attractive vents... they distract from the form, where simple body matched panels, vents, etc would look cleaner. This M5 rendering looks very clean to me and I like it much better than the new 5. Of course this is just my opinion.
