you are lucky you didn't buy it... what went from a great dealership experience has quickly turned into one of the worst - you were sparred, and you got a better deal elsewhere
What happened! That sucks

Reposting here...

Been working the dealer on the ‘19 M5 base after hearing the groups thoughts. Really appreciate the collective wisdom.

Here’s where they are:

117,345 MSRP
104,740 selling price

36 months.
15k miles per year.
.00128 money factor

$1,255 monthly payment (taxes included)

57% residual
$66,886 residual value.

I need 15k miles.

Thought from savvy folks who understand leasing?

What’s your drive off?

Great deal if you’re putting nothing down, esp 15k miles/ yr.

Some people seemed to get better deals, but the deals vary a lot it seems, from what I've seen around me locally, I'd go for it.

10.7% off a 19’ is decent, but you should easily be able to get 12-15% off. Residual and MF are correct. $0 down of course is correct, you understand leasing.

In SoCal 12-15% is VERY difficult on a 19. Trust me I called all of them.

Did you qualify for the loyalty credit? How much did you get off of msrp?

Checking on this forum after 22 months into my lease - some of these deals are incredible. Discounts in early '18 were slim to none. Had a few dealers come back with insulting deals marked up 10k over MSRP with elevated MFs (2-2200/month on a 112k msrp) in the Maryland/DC area which is even worse in MD with sales tax on the entire cap cost rather than the monthly payments. Certainly learned a great deal from this forum for future negotiations, only 14 painful payments (1690/mo) to go! Fall of 2021 should be the sweet spot with the 2020 LCI'd F90s to carry over until its replacement a year or so after the G30 replacement.

Ordering a 2020 has been a surprise with the higher lease rates. On an MSRP of $123k, the rates I have been offered range from $1680 per month to $1800 per month.

USAA cash back

I'm in the Maryland/DC area and planning on taking delivery of an ordered 2020 m5 comp in the next day or two. I qualify for USAA cash back offer of $2500 on the M5 but my dealer is telling me that this does not apply to competition models. Has anyone here used the USAA discount and aware of any stipulations on competition models?

I was reading old threads yesterday regarding pricing in 2018 and most of 2019, it’s astounding the differences a year can make with patience, not being the first to have. I can’t fathom paying $2,200 a month for the same car I’m receiving soon and I’ll be paying $999 a month with ZERO down!

I just ran the car buying service on an M5 Comp in my area and the discount was $0. The Base is $2,000 only if you finance through USAA. Typically the USAA rate only applies to buy, not lease and on occasion only applies if you finance through USAA. Read the fine print on your offer letter from USAA for the definitive answer.

As a side note, I just leased an i3 last month and used the USAA pricing as my point of measure. The dealer reduced the cap cost to match it but was in no way required to. YMMV when leasing and using USAA pricing.
