Yes didn't install them, this system has to be installed without it. Took it on track and no issues.
Would have been nice with it but the main big ones are good enough.

You're right man, mine are off too and makes no difference at all. Nobody should get hung up on those.

When I first talked to George about my build and the intake, he told me he removed all the braces because he wanted a clean system when looking at it from the outside as well as in the engine bay, not cluttered or too much going while making a nice clean flowing system that performs. To George it's always been an art not just a mod.

2 Questions...

1. Who is going to post some video with flybys and revs?
2. Where can I purchase these? I have looked online but not having any luck.

Hey Joey you can go to my Instagram page M6BEAST and check out some of the pics and fly by videos. That page got hacked but has a lot of pics and videos. My new instagram page is mstreetracing which I also have a lot of info there.

If you have any questions let me know.

Our intake made great gains! Intake only no other mods reduced 60-130mph runs by .6-.7 seconds back to back. A true full 3.5” system from turbo inlet al the way to velocity stacks.
The car pulls like a freight train to redline in every gear.

Here’s a quote from one of our Canadian customers

“ why don't you advertise your f90 intakes on your site or bimmerpost with pricing and everything? I'll be Frank with you, it turned my car into a monster. Lol”

One of the cleanest systems out there with proven results time after time.

George is building me an Air Intake, Exhaust and Rims as we speak! Can’t wait to get it done. Will post pics and video when done in a few weeks.

MSR is the shit!

Given the cost, anyone done Pre and Post draggy times to see if they actually make any difference??

So much rain in the uk i doubt I will go down this route but they do look and sound good.

Intakes are for sound. I asked my tuner for both my F80 M3 and M8 if i should get intakes and both times was told if i want the sound then yea otherwise there is no performance benefit.

I have these intakes on my M8 Comp. Rain is not an issue drove in it in light rain and washed the car countless times. No Issues for me. The sound is amazing even on stock tune and stock downpipes. I don't have a dragy time for a before but I do have one after my intake install. 60-130 8 seconds. Which is really good just for an intake.

MSR downpipes go on tomorrow and should have the car back by Wednesday or Thursday. And will eventually do another 60-130 without a tune to see the improvement.

I am super excited to hear it I can only imagine what it will sound like with the intake and down pipe combo.

I'll update this thread and feel free to follow my Instagram for progress on the build @_r8ted_r

This is quite a substantial claim.

Every single tuner i asked about intakes for my F80 or M8 told me they are just for sound and to skip them and take out charcoal filters.

Just picked up the car today from the shop. MSR Downpipes are fitted and I am speechless after the 1st drive. The turbo whistle is unreal. Glad I bought the downpipes + intake combo at once.

Cold starts are also brutal would love to add the MSR axel back in the future to finish it up on the sound part of the build at least.

I'll be posting more content on Instagram: _r8ted_r

I will say the power claims are legit when I ran MSR intakes on my F10 M5. George usually has plenty of data to back it up. Even with Dyno sheets, draggy runs, VBOX data, customer feedback, 1/4 times and real world data, they still wanna argue that intakes are sound only.

Personally, I felt a big difference when I swapped from stock to MSR to stock and back to MSR for different reasons.

Are those mesh filters, Any idea where I can get them? as I have PG intakes with bigger AFE filters but would love to try good quality mesh filters.
