How do I determine idrive firmware version?

thought it would be in the menus but I can't find it. thanks!

Because its not there. In BMW OS7 (Live cockpit) version of M5, the item “Remote software update” is missing for unknown reason. At least in our two cars. Another colleauge has it properly in his G20 330i (see attached photo and excuse me for weird language version).

I dont get it. Can you explain it, please? How exactly I can recognize SW version of iDrive inside a car just knowing its VIN number?
