I'm finding it very difficult to connect my apps to the BMW so that I can use Alexa, for example.

Everything else connects automatically and works fine. This includes all tel functions, bluetooth for audio etc etc. But for some very frustrating reason, the apps icon never lights up and I can't use Alexa.

Is there something I'm missing?

Edit: I also have all settings set correctly in the BMW system as per the 'helpful' video offered by BMW
