Adding Slim 8inch Sub in trunk B&W

Hi guys,

I'm thinking of adding a kicker hideaway sub in trunk for little more bass. I don't need something crazy that will rattle the car but something just to compliment what I have. The kicker sub doesn't need an amp and it's already has a built in amp and is one unit. I have the same set up in my tundra and really like the improvement. Only question I have is if I tap in to under seat sub wires to get signal would it have any effect on B&W sub performance or any issues that might cause as I don't want to blow them or damage them. Also do I need lc2i for this install or not. Thanks
