That's Aragon Brown (which I like a lot and is the color interior I ordered on my M5C). But there is a Caramel individual interior option that I think matches the Ferrari Red perfectly. It's a lighter color than Aragon Brown.

Imola is a historic BMW color
Rosso Corsa is historic Ferrari

Imola is a slightly more subdued red

Both are awesome

The caramel interior in person is shockingly good. After seeing it at the LA auto show it's the only color interior I would order...

Heaven help me, I want a big ass red sedan.

I'd have to agree with you on this one. The paint codes underneath their names are different...

BwoodBMW also noted above there are slight differences between Imola and Ferrari. And not to take a shot at someone, but jeffscott1 doesn't see the difference between Aragon Brown and Caramel interior...so not sure he is the definitive source on BMW color options.

I own a Rosso Corsa red F90, have owned Rosso Corsa red Ferraris and actually have a new one being built in that color so I guess I a more definitive source on that color option than most people.

I think BMW changed the name from Ferrari red for the earlier cars to the actual Ferrari name

Fair point, but the color code is different as well between Corsa Rosa and Ferrari red (based on the pics of both in this thread). Whatever the answer is, the color(s) look amazing.

Fair point, but the color code is different as well between Corsa Rosa and Ferrari red (based on the pics of both in this thread). Whatever the answer is, the color(s) look amazing.

Paint codes get updated as formulas have to change for regulation purposes... I believe in the last round of regulatory changes they had to take out a certain ingredient(which I understand has caused car paints to chip a bit easier) and that's when imola became imola 2 and when ferrarirot (or whatever it was called) became Rosso corsa

It's happened a lot over the years
