For sale: winter wheel/tire for F90 - BBS/Blizzak

For sale - winter wheel and tire package, ready to mount

Hi guys,

After two months, I decided to trade in my 2019 M5. In November, I had already put on a brand new set of winter wheels and tires. After trade in, I no longer need them in my basement. So...

BBS CI-R 19x10 ET25 mm rims (black with stainless lip)
Bridgestone Blizzak LM-32 275/40 19 tires (square setup)
Includes bolts and installed TPMS

These were used for about 2,000 miles from November through early December. Mostly highway. Ride really nicely on the M5. Looked great on the Singapore Grey (shown in picture below).

Entire set was purchased and delivered from Tire Rack. Everything fits perfectly. I just decided to move to a less aggressive car after two months.

Original invoice was $4,110. I'll sell for $2,000. Would prefer not to ship, so local pickup (or reasonable meeting place). In southern NH, about 1 hour from Boston.

Get them before the bad weather sets in.

Interested, but curious about the fitment. Tire Rack does not show those as fitting the F90; did you work with anyone from Tire Rack or BBS on the sizing? Just to confirm, you weren't running any spacers or anything on them, correct?

Lastly, if I can get comfortable with the fit, would you be willing to meet somewhere in central Mass (I'm in Connecticut).

Good questions. Couldn't order them on the website from TireRack. They said that they had not "laser measured" the car, so couldn't guarantee fit. However, if you go on the BBS website, they confirm that the CI-R fit the F90. So I called Tire Rack on the phone, asked them to sell me the wheels, picked out the tires, added the proper center ring for the BBS wheels, and had them shipped. I bolted them on in my garage and they fit and perform perfectly. I worked with Harvey at Tire Rack.

My guess is that once Tire Rack finally gets their hands on an M5 to measure, this will be one of the wheels that is in their list of good options.

I used no spacers, but went through the data very, very carefully.

Rims are 0.5" wider then OEM in the front, but 0.5" narrower in the rear. Offset on OEM are 26/28, and these are 25. Tires are a perfect size match for OEM in the front, and just 10 mm narrower in the rear. Overall, no visible fitment difference from stock. You can see it pretty well in the picture of the car.

Off topic but what did you get instead of the M5CP.

Seems to be the best all rounder out

Mercedes CLS. Kind of an old-guy solution, but really nice.

While the engine in the M5 was amazing, and launch control was a hoot, I just couldn't stand the dump-truck-like brake noise and the bolsters on the seats were fatiguing on long drives. Coupled with the need to go to the gas station every third day, I just decided to cut and run. It's a good time to buy a car, right before year-end, with good deals and dealers willing to be creative. So I went home with a 2019 CLS and a check in my pocket. The M5 is a great car, just not for me.

Price drop to $1,500.

My M5 was taken in trade by the local Mercedes dealership, but was immediately going to a BMW dealer in Rhode Island. Not sure what they were planning for it. It was a 2019 base, not CP. Had DA+ and Exec Package. Singapore Gray with Silverstone interior.
