How much difference in time (if any) would having CCB vs steels make on a quarter-mile, 0-60/62 run? (All other things being equal of course)

I'm asking due to the difference in unsprung weight that's been mentioned.

I have wonder about that before but I think the difference is negligible.

I bet the reason both the E63 S and the M5 Comp have there hazard lights on is because it adds 10hp....at the wheels! :

One thing I have noticed that is consistent, the less time on LC , the less wheel spin and the 60ft is better. Short shift is not as early either. If I hold LC until the rears spin and 3000rpm, sixty will drop to 1.76 and it upshifts very early. If I Launch quick when the rpm just hits 2700 , the sixty drops to 1.68 (1.66 best) and it still early shifts, but not as early. With all of the nannies off, they are not totally off and hurt acceleration.
That's what I noticed too, hold it for only couple seconds and got up to 3000 RPM and shifted very early.
I will do another video sense I have down pipes and tune

You are moving out STRONG. Try leaving at 2700 rpm.

Will do
Noticed with colder weather coming and the tune it starts losing traction more.
Planning next spring to add new set of rims and tires... I will go 285 front and 305 in the back

What's your thoughts on manual shifting so you don't get the automatic short shift? RPM ramps up really quick 1-2 shift and not as bad 2-3. 3-4 looks easy enough that you wouldn't blow the shift and fuel shut off kicks in. Would have to be careful not to manually over extend the 1-2 shift.

If you are really, really good and the Tach is accurate (not sure about this as there is steady state accuracy vs sweep accuracy....the sweep is very fast in 1st gear) you could do it.

Basically start in LC and immediately pull the downshift paddle to switch to manual mode, then be superfast to pull the upshift paddle before the rev limiter in 1st !
