Another question, if we turn the racechip off to stock mode via the mobile app does the car need another 100 miles for adaptation when its turned on again?

It would depends on how long you have it off.
If you have it off for a month or longer, then yes.
But if it only a few hours or days, you'll be fine in a few miles.

What the bypass?
You mean the original cables that I removed initially to punt RC Chip?
I’m asking because I have 6K now on it and 7500 service is looming ahead

You can just remove the harness. But a bypass plug should have been in the box. You just unplug the RC head unit and plug the small plug into its place.

Why do that vs put things back in place

I spent time removing panels to hide the original installation harness. Just saves me time. Either way is fine.

Yeah I know not looking forward to this uninstall and reinstall just for service!
Why 7500 service anyway ?!

I installed mine at 750 miles and pulled it at 1100; then did service and the reinstall the following week.

Its so easy even I could do it.

RaceChip is reaching a solid 3.0psi increase on level 7 and the 1/8 mile is 6.84 at 103.3mph.......a very crude guess on that 1/4 mile pass would be around a 10.70 at 129mph at 1700ish DA.

Pure stock was 7.31 at 99.43mph 1/8th mile and 11.23 at 124.20 mph 1/4 mile.....elevation kills ET and mph .
If race mode map7 is 3psi over stock....how much psi is set for sport and efficient mode?

Only logged SP7. I set it and forgot it on 7 for 31,000 miles on my X5M and 3000 miles so far on my F90. Only wish is for RC to produce one for the Turbo S !

so you would choose RC black over JB stage 1 or JB4(with phone app but doesnt uninstall quick)? I agree the phone app makes it worthwhile....but both are close overall

whats your guess on efficiency and sport mode psi? if you want oem psi you use efficiency or turn it off?

too bad there's no independent dyno's on the RC black race map7 yet...to validate numbers and air/fuel

I've bought two JB's, one Dinan and three RC's. The good news is they all do what they claim to do based on actual logging. After that, it comes down to a personal choice that only the individual can make. For example: ME....I would never buy a phone app choice...lots do...lots love it..personal choice..I max it, log it and forget it...no need to ever turn it down by choice or accident...

You have great options....enjoy the ride !
