Is this anybody's former F90? I wonder what it will actually sell for... I'm just guessing here, but that asking price seems awfully close to the original MSRP.

Haha, from 119 to 118. Anybody have any thoughts on what fair value would be?

How could they get pretty much MSRP? There would already be a second owner. It would be dumb to not just make an order and wait

I feel sorry for the sucker that's gonna pay MSRP for a used M car.

Agreed on all accounts. There is no way this could fetch MSRP levels, even when people are getting ~5k discounts on BRAND NEW ones. I was thinking this should go sub-100, but I'm no expert.

Let's be honest for a second, $130000 for a loaded M 5 and tax and license is still a ton of money. When these cars start to hit the market used there will actually be some added value. The MSRP price of these cars is in line with market conditions, but it is still a ton of money for car that essentially looks like every other 5 series.

I wonder why only 3000 miles, was this a dealer demo?

That would be one friendly dealer to let potential buyers rack up a few thousand miles on a $115k+ car. Or maybe the owner of the dealership titled it and drove it around for a few months as his own. Your guess is as good as mine.

FWIW according to the Carfax, it was delivered and sold at the same dealer.

could be BMW head office marketing show car (tour event, head office personnel driven & abused ?)

I recently test driven one exactly like that. <5000km on the clock and I can see the tires are already worn and almost bald, it must have done tons of launch control.

Not sure what your point is. E63 looks like E class (and C class), RS7 looks like A7/S7. That's what this segment is, you pay for the huge performance upgrade and some smaller exterior/interior upgrades.

Actually, the E63s (which I am not buying) looks bad a@@ and is substantially differentiated from the garden variety E Class. It is hard to say the same thing about the M5 and the 5 series. (I have owned 6 previous BMWs, so I do like the brand).

M5 is a great car. I just wish it was a bit meaner looking!

I have to disagree. E63s front looks almost identical with C63.

I would not be happy if I spent $50k more on a M5 to look like a M3.
