No weight savings over stock on the axle back exhaust. Dinan axleback exhaust is a few pounds heavier actually. Haven't gotten any data on the midpipe weights but I have to imagine the same will be true there since the pipe will be larger and isnt the thin stuff BMW has gotten in the habit of using. It may actually be a weight wash in the case of the mid-pipe since the resonator is being removed in the process. Regardless, I wouldn't expect any great difference in weight. Any weight savings would need to be garnered through a straight pipe design (minimal or no muffler) or the use of titanium.

Any ballpark price numbers?! A range is fine, for the whole CatBack

I wont even hazard a guess since I know the tooling for the pipe/X isnt cheap. It will competitive with the rest of the market though -- aren't shooting for Akra price points or anything. =)

Technically yes but given limited supply at the outset I am sure they will be allocated to full exhaust kits before separate tip orders.

Tips will also not bolt on to the stock exhaust (different pipe diameter) if that was what was desired.
