2019 M5 Competition head rest logo

Hey gang, does anyone know if there is an option to have the M5 logo on the head rest stay on while driving?

I think it should flash on and off while driving and should stay on indefinitely while the car is off

Don't mind them - its a tough crowd around here.

I solved that issue by using a 1/4 inch drill bit on my Makita drill, then drill from the armrest side towards the M5 emblem.
Next remove foam deposits, and leather debris, use Rigid Vacuum.
Finally install one AA duracell battery with 16 gauge wire taped to the positive side. Tada - wire tap the logo you all set.
Your welcome, send photos when complete to share.

Dam it, why don't you read the manual, there is a switch under the seat (like on toys) where you can pick "Demo, Play, Off." "Demo" is as it comes from the factory, just stays on briefly. "Play" sets it to always be on. "Off" turns in off. Read the manual next time before you destroy your seat with a drill bit and vacuum.

My car's in the shop so I can't verify anything. That said, I can no longer tell if the original post was intended as a joke and/or the instructions requiring a drill and/or the Fisher Price switch.. fun to read, though.

Yes, I know it was not intended as a joke.....

It's not a Fisher Price switch, its an actual BMW switch. Take a look.

Fine. I will demonstrate the clean install procedure.
Using a flat head screw driver, pry out the M5 logo pulling it towards you.
Make sure to use green painters tape on the headrest, to ensure no damage.
Start at one corner with the screw driver and work your way around it, in a clock wise fashion.
Once removed. You will notice 3 wires. Red, black and green.
Green is the remote wire, do not touch. Aka activation signal wire.
Intercept black and red wires using a 9 volt battery terminal, plug in new duracell 9V battery to newly installed terminal, and your good to go.
Enjoy !
