Performance air filter drop in F90 M5

Anyone know which companies offer a dropin performance air filter....what is the part number?

Or is it the same fitment as the f10 m5?

K&N will more than likely offer something if they're not already doing so; fitment will be specific to the F90 M5.

Stick to the stock paper filter and remove the charcoal filters.

It is expensive but, no difference then when comes to exhaust. Like Akrapovic, you pay more because off Titanium, on intake is the carbon fiber and not to forget the name. Lol

my point is HP gain is not great on intakes (~5hp)......but for the carbon look and sound....might be worth it for some folks

I did it more for sound and look.

I don't mine spending last penny for something I love and enjoy!!

Charcoal Delete + drop-ins is an alternative that improves sound and costs very little. I did this on both of my F10 M5's and the turbo whistle was noticeably better.

I should have feedback on the BMC dropins next week...about $250 shipped with cleaner kit

I had the BMS cone filters on my F10 M5....worked good but I'm still not a fan of intakes sucking in major hot underhood air temps.....yes the air will then get cooled off......but I prefer the oem design taking in cold air

There is heat shield the to prevent the heat transferring to intake. Plus you get so much more air coming in. The intake definitely improves but the $ is hard to give up for small gain.
