Removing the pops?

Hi folks,
I have a 21' M5c with the M Performance Exhaust. It sounds great, but I really don't like the pops when in sport plus. Since it is an LCI and I can't use a tune such as BM3 to adjust the exhaust note, what options do I have?

Ha! Didn't say I wasn't a fan of the volume and bubbles, just don't like the pops! Reminds me of the annoying Hondas and kids running around in their tuned 320's that are an utter disappointment...

Also I've already got a minivan as well, it is nothing short of awesome!!

Easy Fix click the valves closed button (m perf doesnt have valves) or send ur ecu to femto, wait 1 week and tune with desired company

I have the same set up. I don't like the excessive (just my opinion) bangs in sport +
For me when I hit the exhaust button there is a noticeable quietening.

I am surprised the M Performance Exhaust does not have valves to open and close.

What does that do on an M Performance exhaust that does not have valves?

It does nothing with the valves at all just changes the map to remove or add the pops.

The button closes valves if you have them (but they can still open in some cases), changes ASD (fake noise), and engine mapping as mentioned above.

I have Akropovic and a separate controller to open and close valves. I can remove the pops/bangs by pressing the ehaust button and turn the green light off.

I thought the same at first as well, however it is well designed and quiet when not in sport or sport plus. Sounds like the exhaust button is my key, will give that a shot and report back!

They dont on my car at least not while standing still i have checked. It may be different depending on which region your in im in the Eu.
The valves open for example if you give full throttle and/or go over a certain rpm while driving.

You can look for a base or competition exhaust and swap it till lease return. It'll be night and day with the pops. For the base at least, very muted and muffled pops if any.

The fakeness of the pops and bangs is sooo over done. I like loud exhaust but the fake overrun is too much. I have a carbahn flash tune... I asked their programmer to turn off the pops and bangs - which they did. so much happier with the natural engine wailing. I decoded out the ASD as well. I have an awe switchpath and coded valves open always. I do revert to closed at rare 5am starts.

Very pleased with the results.
