I've just installed this on my f90 running bm3 stage 1 with a Remus cat back exhaust and secondaries installed, the car sound like a JET !!!

I was as well concerned about not having these colapse however I did some hard pulls and no issues.

Not concerned about rads either as I have mapped my thermostat to open at 90 deg Celsius and not 105.

Wha I noticed though is that the intake temps are as low as the outside temps which is great and also when sitting in traffic the temps won't climb as quick and won't get high at all ... As soon as you drive a bit the IAT's are same as outside temp.

I may change the filters with the stack ones .. are these now available ?

Yeah it does, such a unique sound I get lots of stares. Sounds like we're taking off!

Or anyone for that matter. If you can confirm the fit of these for 2022 m5 comp that would be awesome. Also from a sound perspective, anyone have thoughts on rk tuning front mount intake?

https://www.rktunes.com/products/f90...-mount-intakes

Seems they are similar in diameter to project gamma. I have seen msr ones as well on videos shared here. They are great from sound but price diff. is huge.

While all 3 have similar / same designs, each one is made from from different materials.

Project Gamma - Silicon or Carbon
RK - Carbon
MSR - Aluminium (I think) w/ Blitz style intake filters.

MSR started the front mounted intake game with the F M5/6 and RK and Gamma followed. I think they each have their minor design differences. Having heard all 3, MSR seemed to be the loudest and had slight difference in sound. Personal opinion.

They all sound amazing. Can't go wrong. All depends on your budget and what you're looking for.

ok, thanks for the input; yeah I am leaning towards the middle - i.e. the RK - Carbon. They are a tad cheaper than project gamma carbon ones.

I live in Florida and have the PG Matte Carbon intakes on my F90. I would like to change the filters to ones that have the availability of adding a pre filter. Which do you guys recommend? I'm concerned about rain specifically…

Your advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Ok.

I've read that whole thread before. I have the PG intake, it performs flawlessly and sounds awesome. I'm just looking for another filter option. Thanks for the help.
