Sold my RS7 in November and my M5C arrived today! Feels so good to be back in an M car! My two previous cars before the RS7 were a 2013 F10 M5 and a 2006 E60 M5. First white car - and I'm in love 😍

Both look beautiful and I still believe best looking ///M is the M4
Had a few rattle issues on different M4s mate, the white one had some after first year and about 10000 miles, difference was that the dealer acknowledged them and fixed them, dealer where I got the grey one from didn't offer any support whatsoever so rejection was the only way

My n(minus)2 car was a 2017 RS7 Performance. It was beautifully spec'd and I LOVED it. Once tuned, and lowered, and various other aesthetic mods made, it was stunning... and stunningly fast, too.

However, the tech and overall interior was really showing its (design) age. I sold it in favor of a 2018 AMG E63S which I liked, but never fell in love with.

The M5 is the best all-around car I've ever owned. It currently sits at the top of my list--perhaps the M8 will topple it when that comes out, we'll see.

The RS7 was a great car- and easy to go fast... great daily driver and a stop light king. I never personally loved the exhaust note-

It was a lot of fun up canyon roads- because Quattro felt glued to the road- and it turned heads with its sleek look- but it was so focused on traction it took all the fun out of driving- and really showed it's lack of feedback on the track in stock form -

Also- as stated earlier the interior /Tech felt dated..

Having owned both previous model m5's I missed the driver experience both of them offered (exhaust note and 3rd gear acceleration of the E60 and the thrill of keeping the f10 on the road under hard acceleration)

To be fair- the RS7 was really a means to an end while I waited for the M5C to come out.

I will say I've been in the new RS5 and they have fixed the interior tech issues- and with rumors of the power in the new RS7-it could be a force to be reckoned with.
